Cancellation Policy

At NeuroLift, we understand that circumstances may arise requiring the cancellation of appointments. To ensure the smooth operation of our office and to accommodate all our patients, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

Notice Period

Patients are required to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to other patients in need.

Late Cancellation Fee

Cancellations made within less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will be subject to a late cancellation fee of $50.00.

No-Show Policy

Patients who do not show up for their scheduled appointment without prior notice will also be subject to a $50.00 fee.

Emergency Exceptions

We understand that emergencies can happen. If you have a genuine emergency, please notify us as soon as possible, and we will work with you to find a suitable solution.

Rescheduling

Whenever possible, patients are encouraged to reschedule more than 24 hours in advance rather than cancel. This helps us maintain a timely and efficient schedule for all our providers and patients.

By scheduling an appointment with NeuroLift, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms of this cancellation policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide the best care to all our patients.

Thank you,
NeuroLift

August News & Wellness Updates

Dear subscribers,

This month, we are pleased to welcome a new member to the NeuroLift team and share a reflection on National Wellness Month, National Grief Awareness Day, and the importance of seeking support when difficult experiences begin to affect everyday life.

Welcoming Leysi to the NeuroLift Team

We are pleased to welcome Leysi, a TMS Technician at NeuroLift. She supports patients throughout their Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments, helping ensure care is delivered safely, accurately, and with compassion.

Leysi works closely with providers to follow clinical protocols and maintain treatment consistency. She is known for her calm, patient-centered approach and attention to detail.

Her goal is to help patients feel comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their treatment journey.

Wellness Means Asking for Help

August is a reminder of something we often postpone: taking care of our mental health is an essential part of overall well-being. National Wellness Month encourages us to build small daily habits that support a healthier life, from getting better rest and staying active to making time for the activities that help us feel our best.

Wellness also means recognizing that difficult moments are part of life and that seeking support during those times can be an important form of self-care.

This is especially meaningful because August also includes National Grief Awareness Day on August 30. Any significant loss can have a profound emotional impact, and asking for help when we need it is another way of caring for ourselves.

Grief is a natural response to loss. However, when emotional pain becomes overwhelming or begins to interfere with everyday life, professional support can make a meaningful difference in the healing process.

Ultimately, both observances share the same message: mental health is strengthened through self-care, prevention, and timely support when life becomes difficult.

Natural Suggestions from NeuroLift

Try Forest Bathing (Shinrin-yoku)

You do not need to hike for miles or spend an entire day outdoors. Take a few minutes to walk slowly through a park, forest, or any green space while paying close attention to your surroundings: the sounds, colors, movement of the leaves, and fresh air around you.

A growing body of research suggests that spending time in nature can help reduce stress, improve mood, and support both physical and mental well-being.

When Additional Support Is Needed

If natural strategies are not enough, NeuroLift offers advanced treatment options, including:

  • TMS Therapy — non-invasive magnetic stimulation designed to help regulate brain circuits affected by mood symptoms, sleep disruption, and trauma.
  • Spravato® (esketamine) — an option for treatment-resistant depression when oral antidepressants have not provided enough relief.
  • Medication Management — personalized adjustments for symptoms such as insomnia, anxiety, and seasonal irritability.
